Requires an active CMMC Agent Consultant plan ($599/month) and access to custom connectors in Claude. Your Claude subscription is separate. Free and Contractor plans do not include API access.

    Open Claude’s connector settings

    In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. If the option is unavailable, check your Claude plan or organization’s connector policy.

    Add CMMC Agent

    Name the connector CMMC Agent and enter the server URL above. Use the account connection flow; no API key or pasted access token is needed.

  3. 03

    Sign in and review access

    Sign in to your CMMC Agent account, review the requesting client and approve the connection. Workspace permissions still apply.

  4. 04

    Ask about your readiness

    Enable the connector in your Claude conversation, then ask: “List my CMMC workspaces, summarize readiness for one I choose, and show its open remediation items.”

You control access

  • Only workspaces your signed-in account is allowed to access are available.
  • The connector cannot edit controls, upload evidence, make payments or certify compliance.
  • Results are self-assessment drafts. Review Claude’s interpretation before relying on it.
  • Do not share CUI, secrets or restricted evidence with Claude. Review its data-handling terms before connecting.
  • Remove or disconnect CMMC Agent in Claude’s connector settings when you no longer want to use it.
